teach and reinforce essential pre-reading skills that will prepare your child for kindergarten: phonological awareness, oral language, print and book awareness, and alphabet knowledge. Each child will have opportunities to interact with the “Ready, Set, Leap!” program materials daily.
The program includes the following multisensory learning tools that integrate touch, sight and sound to engage children as they learn key skills.
• The LeapDesk workstation: students see and feel the shapes of letters while they learn letter names, letter sounds, sight words and simple decodable words.
• The LeapMat learning surface uses touch, sight, and sound to teach letter-name recognition, letter-sound association, and spelling of three -letter words.
• The LeapPad® learning system is proven to help students learn through touch, sight, and sound—and to give them the immediate feedback they need. Students simply touch any page with the
interactive pen to hear words, sounds, and sentences spoken aloud. Interactive books introduce music, math, vocabulary, and character development.
The Imagination Desk® learning center teaches letter names and sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, and musical instruments as students color.
The learning experience is complemented with interactive learning aids, colorful flip books, poem posters, and phonemic awareness music. To learn more, visit www.leapfrogschoolhouse.com.
